Slate in a Crate Our unique ‘SLATE IN A CRATE’ offers you the chance to enjoy the uniqueness of purple Welsh slate in your garden.
Each garden comes packed in a sturdy shipping crate, ready for self assembly at home.
We can also work with you (or your garden designer) to create a bespoke Welsh purple slate garden , crafted to your exact requirements.
We offer two ‘slate in a crate’ sizes (basic pricing starts from £99):
– ‘Tryfan‘ slate garden, which is a simple, clean design with one slate monolith, and smaller buttress stones.
– ‘Hebog‘ upgraded slate garden, with a special feature such as an attractive bird bath, accurate sundial, or slate
water feature.
- ‘TRYFAN’ SLATE IN A CRATE includes:
A slate monolith, left natural to showcase the stones’ natural beauty, or carved by a local master craftsman, to your design. Popular carved images include birds, a Welsh dragon, or Celtic symbols.
Smaller side ‘buttress’ purple slate, flanking the main feature stone.

Your choice of a specially designed purple slate feature: bird bath, sundial, or water feature.
